Name Maker – Sports Team Names
Make names for various sport teams from around the world
Sports are quite popular the world over. The local (or non local but chosen) team, sometimes there are more than one, can help foster a sense of comradeship and ways of uniting a group in shared celebration when the team wins..and sometimes commiseration when they lose.
This publication gives you a way to make up a team name, following the pattern of [Location] + [Thing], with entries for cities and towns, alongside their respective countries or territory, in both city order and country order for ease of reference.
Whilst this does focus on real-world places (cites/towns and countries or territory), places from your game world can be easily substituted as some result may even match existing teams!
Designed to be used alongside “Sport Variant Namer”, also by Ennead Games, but that is not required to use this publication.
