Been a while since I done one of these, so i feel like its that time again!
Real life has been..well..busy and having a lot of stuff to do is putting it mildly –
Blog/Website
The blog has been in what i call “Recycle Mode” where old posts are reused after a period of time of around 90 days or so. This way there is always at least something each day. Downside..ish … is that the older posts didn’t always have featured images, so using a selection of default ones..it does mean they get repeated a lot, but I’m always keeping an eye out for ones that can be used…which does give me an idea for some other post types that can be put into the rotation in the future…hopefully…
Secondly, starting on Wednesday of this week (so, tommrow at time of posting this) , I’m going to attempt to put up some more items in the online catelog
AND
Some more free to use gens/samplers etc.
But as this is fiddly and time consuming for me, I don’t want to make any promise I cant keep up with, so file it under “as and when” I can do it.
I’m still looking to a way I can use my own generators to make regualr posts here on my half (not quite full automation, not really fully manually either, something in between without using GEN-AI)
Streaming/Videos/Etc
Regular reminder I have a Youtube channel , which is a non edits errors and all channel archive of my streams , uploaded when I get a chance , and is about a week or two behind the live streams.
Speaking of streaming…
1 – I was invited onto “Rookery Publications” (https://bsky.app/profile/rookeryp.bsky.social) stream to chat about GM tolls and gens. Was great fun and went by soo quick! Check it out if you get the chance!
2 – Am starting a new character on The Elder Scrolls Online tonight (03/06/2025)..Yes it will be a khajiit (I like Khajiits…deal with it heh), but what class? Well you’ll have to tune in, or watch the vod, to see! This will be a new playlist on YT to go along with it, seperate from the Vah’len the sorcerer vids.
Helpful Lists return!
Something I’ve been meaning to do for awhile is a return to the helpful lists/content pack stuff. I’ve been adding d100 lists for free patrons (with paid ones getting them 2 weeks early). I was orginally going to bring them out in one compilation, but the idea occured to me that folks may want just one or two chapters from each compilation. So..why no do both!
The revamped HL/Content packs (I’ll just call them helpful list from here on) will be divided up into various genres, such as Sci-Fi, fantasy, horror etc. Each will have , essentially the same layout, just slighty varioations and a simplified cover image, such as Sci-Fi having a blue cover, fantasy a green one and so on.
Content Packs will be HL that are made from my own generator PDFs, so if you see in the listing “An Ennead Games Content Pack” or similiar, you’ll know it was made by one of my own gens and are a list of pre made rolls etc, in case you need a lot in one go.
Some things about these to keep in mind:
- These will be supplemental to the regular releases and NOT be discounted for the first week like I normally do because they will have a fixed price point of $1.50 , starting at $1.50 for the d100 content pack generated lists and going up from there, depending on the number of entries.
- They will not have a fixed or regualar schedule as they will come out “as and when” I can do it. So one month two may be released, then zero the next month etc.
- The covers will be highly simplified , essentally coloud cloudly images (very simple explanation). Essentially a pre-made template in which I put the generated results.
As always, things may (probably will) change when real-life stuff decides to poke it’s nose about, but they will be dealt with when they happen!
