Update has begun

The migration to a new system has started, but it’s going take a while as I tweak things. I might be able to spead up the process with some plugin trickery, but we will see how effective that will be.

The main reasons it’s going to take time:

Moving to a new way of organiseing the pages (A woocommerce “catalogue” that doesnt have prices…yet)
Adding in images where needed
Adding in tags (for ease of searching etc)
Adding catagories when required (some of which will need or have images added, using placeholders for now to save time)
Misc tweaking that each page needs
Adding store links where needed or appopriate

This is being done for each gen page, then the same for PDFs and everything else.

I’m starting with the gen-pages , and , this is very important – The older pages WILL BE DELETED ONCE MOVED

As much as I want to have all the older formats, having, essentially, now 3 different versions of each page is a massive cluster **** for space/storage wise,orgainisg, sorting, updating indexing and all that stuff, so, the older ones need to go. The gens will stay, just where they are located and their appropriate links/URLS.

This organistaion format will take a while to do, but once done, makes it a LOT easier to organise, sort, and eveything else, plus potential for future things is easier, such as direct sale (but thats a fiddly thing on it’s own so if “off” for now, but laying the groundwork now will make it less of a problem later.
