Well, it’s been far too long since I done an update on here!
We had in the UK a few months back a major heatwave (which came VERY close to putting me in hospital for heat stroke). Which for someone like me with kidney issues and other related stuff was..welll..it wasnt great.
Got behind on a lot of plans and work by almost two months, and now trying to play catch up on projects that I wanted to start way before now.
One of which is related to the blog, this very place right here!
There’s quite a few things I want/need to do (in no particular order) :
- Add more things to the catalogue pages.
- Add some sample gens for each gen/list – a cut down version that will be free to use.
- Trying to find a way to do a bulk upload for blog posts (and spread them out properly so they not all released on the same day) thats not so fiddly or complicated its not worth doing!
Point 3 is the main one – I have, afterall a LOT of generators and lists etc Ive made over the years and for a while now, Ive had the blog in what i call “recycle” mode, where it reshows older posts. Which is fine as a stop gap but was never meant to be what going on now!
I *want* to say I’ll do things regularly/every day, but my physical health, if im honest, has got a tad worse over the last few years. Not major that I have to worry about things, but more, like 75-80% of what it used to be.
This is where the bulk-upload comes in – Some days, of course, are a LOT better for me, so If i can get a bulk uploader + poster/scheduler to work how I want, I can use the [Good] days to work on things, then I don’t have to worry about things as much on the bad days!
So don’t be surprised if posting/things go a bit weird over the next few weeks as I try things out and do my damdest to, well, reboot things!
I’ll go over a few more things tomorrow, but, for now, I got some research on bulk uploading and posting to do!
