What type of defences do they have?

There are many types of fortifications – buildings and features that are designed as a way of defending or protecting something. Some may not even be in the same class of castles, walls etc, but are of strategic importance, such as docks, warehouses and so on. Whatever the reason, they exist due to something being protected.

Not all of them are the same, some can be new using the latest in military thinking, or left to fall apart due to budget cuts.
